When buying property in Dubai, the Dubai Land Department (DLD) charges several fees: 1. DLD Transfer Fee — 4% of purchase price (split as agreed between buyer and seller) 2. Trustee Fee — AED 4,000 + VAT for properties over AED 500K 3. Admin Fee — AED 580 4. Registration Fee — AED 2,000 for properties under AED 500K, AED 4,000 for properties over AED 500K For a AED 2,000,000 property, total DLD costs would be approximately AED 102,780. Note: These fees are separate from agent commission, mortgage fees, and NOC charges.
